Academy of West African dance and music uses Djembe Loops to deliver proffessional Dance instructional videos

Djembe Loops and the pandemic

During the pandemic, most of the dance schools and academies around the world were shut down. Along the curfew, african dance teachers were isolated from their musicians making their problem more prolific than other dance teachers. It is in fact quite difficult to deliver a proficient west african dance class without live music. On top to that, video conferencing technologies make it quite hard to synchronize the dance instructor and the musicians over the web.

At this strange period Djembe Loops came in hand. It was used by west african dance teachers and dance academies around the world. In Spain, France, Mexico, Argentina, Holland, Israel and Philippines there are academies that took the time and wrote a few words to thank us for our effort.

I big thank you also from Djembe Loops to all those Dance instructors that held up public dance sessions for all the people to attend. Their contribution was very important to keep a higher morale.

Yeelen

During the pandemic, Yeelen, a west african Dance and Music academy contributed to this effort releasing every few days, very well made instructional videos.

For many of those videos, they used Djembe Loops as the music source, as at the pandemic time, it was quite difficult (and forbidden) to get the musicians into one place.
